SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Effective Date: July 1, 2026

This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to orders placed through www.ozshed.com.

OZSHED primarily serves customers in Australia. Depending on the product, orders may be dispatched from Australia, China, a supplier facility, or another designated fulfilment location.

1. Shipping Labels and Fulfilment Types

Product pages may display one of the following descriptions.

Australia Stock

The product is currently held at, or allocated for dispatch from, an Australian fulfilment location.

Ships from Australia

The product is expected to be dispatched from Australia.

Global Direct Ship

The product is normally dispatched from China or another international fulfilment location.

Australia Only

The product can only be delivered to eligible Australian addresses.

Ships Worldwide

The product may be delivered to selected international destinations, subject to carrier coverage, import restrictions, and destination-country law.

The shipping label shown on the product page should be reviewed before purchase.

2. Australian Orders

Australian-stock products are normally dispatched using Australian domestic carriers.

Delivery availability and time depend on:

  • state or territory;
  • metropolitan, regional, rural, or remote destination;
  • carrier coverage;
  • product size and weight;
  • stock availability;
  • weather and transport conditions;
  • public holidays and peak periods.

Large, heavy, oversized, restricted, battery-powered, or specialized products may only be available to selected postcodes.

Australian stock does not guarantee same-day or next-day dispatch unless expressly stated.

3. Internationally Fulfilled Orders to Australia

Some products offered to Australian customers may be dispatched directly from China or another international fulfilment location.

The product page or checkout should identify the expected arrangement where practical.

Internationally fulfilled orders may:

  • take longer to process and deliver;
  • use more than one carrier;
  • have limited tracking during part of the journey;
  • be subject to customs inspection;
  • arrive separately from Australian-stock items.

4. Order Processing

Orders are normally processed after:

  • payment authorization;
  • stock confirmation;
  • address review;
  • any required fraud, compliance, or export checks.

Processing time varies by product, warehouse, destination, season, and order volume.

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays may begin processing on the next applicable business day.

The creation of a shipping label does not necessarily mean that the parcel has already been collected by the carrier.

5. Delivery Estimates

Delivery estimates shown on the product page, at checkout, or in communications are estimates rather than guaranteed arrival dates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Delivery estimates may be affected by:

  • warehouse processing;
  • carrier schedules;
  • remote locations;
  • weather;
  • public holidays;
  • customs;
  • regulatory inspection;
  • freight congestion;
  • events beyond reasonable control.

We will not advertise a delivery timeframe that we know cannot reasonably be met. Where a material delay becomes known before dispatch, we will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer.

6. Split Shipments

Orders containing multiple products may be dispatched:

  • in separate parcels;
  • on different dates;
  • from different warehouses;
  • through different carriers.

Customers may receive multiple tracking numbers and deliveries.

No additional shipping charge will be added after checkout unless the customer agrees to it or the original shipping calculation was materially incorrect and the order cannot otherwise be fulfilled.

7. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges may be based on:

  • destination;
  • shipping origin;
  • parcel weight;
  • parcel dimensions;
  • carrier;
  • service level;
  • remote-area surcharge;
  • dangerous-goods or special-handling requirements.

Available shipping charges will normally be displayed before checkout is completed.

Where an automated shipping quote is materially incorrect because of a system error, unusual dimensions, inaccessible destination, carrier restriction, or special handling, we may contact the customer before dispatch.

The customer may accept the revised charge or cancel the affected order for a refund.

8. Addresses

Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address, telephone number, and any necessary access information.

We are not responsible for avoidable delay or cost caused by:

  • an incorrect or incomplete address;
  • missing unit or apartment number;
  • missing business name;
  • invalid contact details;
  • lack of access instructions;
  • failure to respond to the carrier;
  • an address change requested after dispatch.

Contact us immediately if an address needs correction.

Address changes cannot be guaranteed after processing begins.

9. PO Boxes and Restricted Addresses

Some products or carriers cannot deliver to:

  • PO boxes;
  • parcel lockers;
  • military addresses;
  • islands;
  • restricted facilities;
  • remote or offshore locations.

A street address may be required for large, tracked, courier, or freight deliveries.

10. Remote and Regional Areas

Regional, rural, remote, island, and restricted-access destinations may:

  • require additional delivery time;
  • incur extra charges;
  • have limited carrier options;
  • be unavailable for certain products.

We may contact the customer if the selected delivery service cannot serve the address.

11. Tracking

Tracking information will be provided where available.

Tracking may not become active immediately after dispatch.

Some postal, economy, international, freight, or last-mile services provide limited updates.

A carrier status showing “delivered” will normally be treated as evidence of delivery unless there is reasonable evidence of a carrier error.

12. Delivery Instructions and Authority to Leave

Where a customer requests or authorizes a parcel to be left unattended, responsibility for the parcel after delivery may pass according to applicable law and the carrier’s terms.

Customers should avoid authority-to-leave instructions where the delivery location is insecure.

We are not responsible for theft or loss after a parcel has been correctly delivered in accordance with an authorized instruction, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

13. Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Products dispatched from outside Australia may be subject to customs assessment, import requirements, taxes, duties, brokerage charges, or regulatory fees.

Where GST, duties, or other charges are collected at checkout, this will normally be indicated.

Unless expressly stated that all destination charges are included, the customer may be responsible for charges imposed by the destination authority.

We do not control customs assessments or clearance times.

14. Customs and Regulatory Delays

Internationally dispatched products may be delayed by customs or another government authority.

We may provide reasonable order or shipping documentation but cannot guarantee customs clearance.

Customers must provide accurate information where customs or the carrier requests it.

15. Product Restrictions

Some products may be subject to carrier or legal restrictions because of:

  • lithium batteries;
  • electrical components;
  • size or weight;
  • liquids;
  • magnets;
  • radio equipment;
  • optical equipment;
  • dangerous-goods rules;
  • import restrictions.

We may cancel and refund an order if the product cannot lawfully or reasonably be delivered.

16. Lost Parcels

Contact us if tracking has not updated for an unusual period or the parcel has not arrived within a reasonable time after the estimated delivery window.

We may need to open a carrier investigation before issuing a replacement or refund.

Customers must cooperate with reasonable investigation requirements, such as:

  • confirming the address;
  • checking nearby delivery locations;
  • contacting household members;
  • providing a non-receipt declaration;
  • communicating with the carrier.

17. Damaged Deliveries

Inspect the parcel promptly where practical.

If a parcel arrives damaged:

  • retain all packaging;
  • photograph the outer packaging;
  • photograph the shipping label;
  • photograph the internal packaging;
  • photograph the damaged product;
  • contact us promptly.

Do not discard packaging until the claim has been assessed.

18. Failed, Refused, and Unclaimed Deliveries

Where a parcel is:

  • refused without authorization;
  • not collected;
  • returned because the address was incorrect;
  • returned because the carrier could not contact the customer;
  • returned after customs or import charges were not paid,

the customer may be responsible for reasonable:

  • original shipping charges;
  • return shipping charges;
  • customs charges;
  • storage fees;
  • carrier handling fees;
  • reshipment charges.

These costs may be deducted from any refund where permitted by law.

19. Delays and Non-Delivery

Where we cannot supply a product within an agreed or reasonable period, the customer may be entitled to cancel and receive a refund depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

We will make reasonable efforts to provide an updated estimate or available options when a material delay becomes known.

20. Risk and Consumer Rights

Risk of loss or damage transfers in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in this policy limits rights relating to goods that are lost, damaged, delayed, or not delivered where those rights cannot lawfully be excluded.
